Painted Cabinets FAQs
Do painted cabinets chip or yellow?
Cheap ones do. Conversion varnish painted cabinets (what we install) are factory-baked and chip-resistant for 15+ years.
Can I paint my existing cabinets instead?
Yes — but only with proper prep, primer and conversion varnish, and a controlled environment. On-site painting almost never lasts. We recommend refacing instead if budget is the driver.
What white should I paint my cabinets?
Most popular in 2026: SW Alabaster, BM White Dove, BM Simply White. We bring drawdowns to your home and test them in your light at consultation.
